C-N’s Chef Matt helps lead team to championship’s silver medal

Chef Matt Kuver serves as Aramark’s executive chef at Carson-Newman University.

Chef Matt Kuver, who serves Carson-Newman University via Aramark, and the Collegiate Hospitality Team captured the silver medal at the Aramark Culinary Excellence (ACE) Enterprise Championship. The event was hosted at the organization’s headquarters in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Kuver, C-N’s executive chef, teamed with James Madison University’s Executive Chef Franco Lossio and Boston University’s Executive Chef Jessica Paulson to form Aramark’s Collegiate Hospitality Team. The team was bested only by Czech Republic’s Aramark International team.

Prior to the championship, Kuver earned gold at the 2023 Aramark ACE Collegiate Hospitality and Harvest Table Competition in August.
